History
Establishment of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo State.
The several years of yearning and struggle for a federal tertiary institution by the
Ogbomoso people came to reality in February, 2021 when President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR),
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in
Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces established the Federal Polytechnic,
Ayede, Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, Oyo State.
The Federal Government approval for the establishment of the
Institution was conveyed to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde,
the Executive Governor of Oyo State, in a letter titled “Establishment of
Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area, Oyo State”,
dated January 29, 2021, with reference number DHE/POLY49/c.1/11/351,
by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education,
Arc. Sonny G. T. Echono, on behalf of the Honourable Minister of Education.
The Management, in its determination to create good and acceptable
Corporate Image / Identity for the Institution, has successfully completed
and put the following things in place
